Lawrence H. (“Doc”) Muhlbaier is retired from the Duke University School of Medicine. He is Associate Professor Emeritus of Biostatistics & Bioinformatics. In addition to working on clinical trials and outcomes assessments, he worked with the Compliance Office to help implement the HIPAA regulations for research at Duke.
Doc has a bachelor’s degree from Duke and a PhD from UNC. Doc has been in Durham nearly 60 years and has recently relocated to Croasdaile Village, a Life Plan Community in north Durham.
